Smart Watch FAQ & Quick Fix

Clear, step-by-step answers. Solve it in minutes.

  1. Download and open VeryFit (or your companion app), then create/log in to your account.
  2. Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth and Location (Location is only used to discover devices).
  3. In the app: Device > + (top-right) → choose your band model → follow on-screen instructions to pair.
  4. Sync time, notifications, and health permissions; then test a call/message preview.

Can’t find the device? Put the band on charge for 2–3 minutes and try again.

  • Limit notifications in the app: open the app → Device > Notifications → turn off apps you don’t need.
  • Enable Power Saving Mode on the band: press the side button → Settings > Battery Level → enter Power Saving Mode.
  • Lower screen brightness/timeout; avoid always-on or heavy animated watch faces.
  • Exit workout mode after finishing; use GPS assist (if available) only during workouts.
  • Set heart rate/SpO₂ to Smart/Interval; enable continuous only when needed.

Typical use: 5–7 days. Heavy notifications/workouts will shorten battery life.

  1. Ensure charging contacts are clean and dry; wipe the metal pins with a lint-free cloth.
  2. Align the magnetic/clip charger with the pins; charging icon on screen = normal.
  3. For first use, charge to 100% before unplugging.
  4. No response? Try a different cable/USB port and charge for 5 minutes, then check again.

Use a 5V⎓1A–2A adapter or laptop USB. Avoid high-watt fast-charge bricks.

  • Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is ON.
  • Connect inside the app: open the app → go to Device tab → tap the + in the top-right → add your band.
  • If you paired in system Bluetooth before, “Forget This Device” in system settings, then pair again in the app.
  • Keep the band and phone within 5 meters during pairing.
  1. On the back, pull the quick-release pin and slide the strap outward to remove.
  2. To install, align the pin with the lug, release the lever, and let it click into place.
  3. Gently tug both sides to confirm it’s secure.

Most models use 16 mm quick-release straps (confirm for your model).

  • On the band: press the side button → Settings > General > Reset.
  • In the app: go to the Device page → tap the band’s icon → choose Delete Device, then pair again.
  • Reset clears local data on the band; data already synced to the app remains.
  1. In the app: Device > Notifications → enable the apps you need.
  2. iOS: allow notifications, banners, and previews. Android: allow auto-start, background run, and ignore battery optimizations.
  3. On the band: enable raise-to-wake and check your Do Not Disturb schedule.

The watch’s Bluetooth always stays on, but the phone controls whether to maintain the connection. If the companion app is closed or restricted in the background, the phone stops the communication, which can cause disconnects. This is the same working principle used by Samsung, Garmin, Fitbit, and other smart wearables.

To keep the connection stable:

  1. Do not force-close the app from the recent apps screen.
  2. Allow the app to run in the background:
  • iPhone: Settings > Bluetooth = On, Settings > App Name > enable Notifications + Background App Refresh.
  • Android: Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization > set the app to “Allow” or “Not restricted”. Also allow Auto-start / Background Activity.
  1. Keep Bluetooth turned on.
  2. Keep the watch and phone within 5 meters during use.

The watch does not turn off Bluetooth by itself — the phone decides whether to maintain the session based on app background permissions.

  • Dry any water/sweat on the screen; avoid thick screen protectors.
  • Press and hold the button (or combo) for 10–15s to force restart.
  • Update the firmware to the latest version in the app.
  • Still unresponsive? Perform Reset (see steps above) and re-pair in the app.
  • Feature permissions may be OFF in the app. Open the app → go to the Device page → scroll down to find Music, Camera Control, More Settings, etc.
  • Turn ON the toggles for the features you need (music control, camera shutter, and other utilities).
  • After enabling, re-open the feature on the band and try again.
